Custom game

Custom Games let players enjoy fully personalized sessions with friends and communities. Whether you want a private car meet, a drift session, or a large multiplayer gathering, Custom Games give you complete control over how you play.
Here’s everything you need to know to get started.


Where to Find Custom Games

  • From the main lobby, tap the “Play” button located at the bottom-right corner of your screen.
  • From the top left side, switch to the “Custom Game” tab.
  • This is your hub for browsing, joining, or creating player-made rooms.


How to Join a Custom Room

There are two ways to join:

1. Join by Room ID

  • Go to the Custom Game tab.
  • Tap “Find by ID” at the top left.
  • Enter the Room ID and press Connect.
  • If the room has no password, you’ll enter instantly.
  • If it’s password protected, you’ll be asked to enter the password.

2. Join Any Room from the List

  • Scroll through the room list to view active sessions.
  • You can filter rooms by region or map using the options at the top of the screen.
  • Each room in the list shows important details such as:
    • Room name
    • Room ID
    • Region
    • Player count
    • Map
    • Public/Private type
    • Traffic settings
    • Time of day

Choose any room that fits what you’re looking for and jump right in!


How to Create Your Own Custom Room

Want full control? You can host your own session. In the Custom Game tab, tap “Create Server” at the top-right corner. A setup menu will appear with the following options:

• Room Name

Pick any name to help players recognize your server.

• Password Protection

You can add a password to limit access — this feature requires an active DZO Subscription.

• Max Player Count

Choose anywhere from 1 to 50 players.

• Traffic Settings

Turn AI traffic On or Off.
With the DZO Subscription, you also unlock adjustable traffic density:

  • 400
  • 600
  • 800

• Time Settings

  • Dynamic Time (On/Off)
    • When On, normal day-night cycles run automatically.
    • When Off, you can set a fixed time of day manually.
  • Static Time Options (when Dynamic Time is Off):
    Choose any hour as per your preference.

Once your settings are ready, confirm your choices and your custom room will be created instantly.
